"Finally - a scientific approach to organizational change that makes good sense. Dawn-Marie did an excellent job of explaining what's really going on in an employee's mind during a change, and what management can do to assist them through it."

"The results (of the Level of Readiness Assessment) aren’t intuitive, so there is value in learning things that may be counter to your intuition. It gives you actual information on which to base decisions, rather than relying on assumptions or best guesses.

"There is also tremendous value in understanding how individuals deal with change, and in getting insight from someone who has made change their business. It’s good to work with someone who has a solid understanding of how change works and can really help you move through it more successfully."

"Without this tool (the Change Monitor™), we may have taken action in the wrong areas and we most certainly wouldn’t have considered the importance of keeping the green areas of the charts green."

“(Living and Leading Change) provided The Dufresne Group with the fundamentals to create a change management structure that works for our organization. It's a culture that will take time to adopt and the rewards will be worth the effort.

“Dawn-Marie Turner has an excellent grasp on change management from an academic and practical perspective. She was very flexible with the delivery of the program.”

"This session provides practical tools and steps to help Executive leaders introduce or implement change successfully in their organizations.

Most people know that they need to make changes to compete in today’s marketplace, but not as many are as effective in introducing that change.

When I’m planning a change, I tend to spend a lot of time thinking it through in my head and talking it out in small groups. This session gave me a better appreciation that people in the organization need the same opportunity to process the information.
I also really liked the points Dawn-Marie made about how to get people in the lower levels of the organization to contribute to the outcome. The leaders are responsible for setting the overall direction, but I can see the value in then coming to the line employees and saying, “Here’s where we’re going. How can you, in your role, help us get there?”

In that case, the employees probably have the best ideas because they are the most familiar with that aspect of the business. And once they suggest something, they are already much more committed to making it work."

"I found the concept of the change continuum very helpful.  After I left the training session I attended a meeting back at the office and was able to identify where some of the people in the meeting were on the change continuum. Knowing this has also helped me develop some key messages to communicate to the people early on in the project to really help them understand why we are making this change, what the risk is of not changing and what the benefts are that they are going to see.  These are the key messages that I am going to repeat again and again during the project." "Dawn-Marie did a fantastic job in extracting key pieces of information and opinions from all of our managers. While I was initially concerned that we would have too many observers and not enough participants, the process Dawn-Marie quickly got the entire team involved, and everyone left the session feeling like they had a real hand in the result. Most importantly, the participants left with a sense of responsibility for realizing the goals we set out as a team."

"The exercise Conviron did with Dawn-Marie to define our Intended Outcome Statement has become one of our most powerful tools for managing transition.

The exercise allowed us to establish clear objectives as to what we want to achieve and how we will achieve it. It helped us to identify groups within the organization that require more support, as well as those who are ready to take the lead. At the same time, it created a common “language” across the company.

Another important outcome of this process has been that some team members have demonstrated skills that many of us did not know they had.

I would recommend that any organization systematically do this exercise – and that they revisit it as needed in response to the demands of today’s fast-changing work environment."

"A coach was what I needed when I was asked to recommend and facilitate the strategic planning process for my organization. Dawn-Marie Turner of Turner Change Management was able to aptly fill that role. Sometimes a five minute conversation was what was needed and other times more in-depth discussions were required. Much of this was done by telephone, which made it easier for me to meet some tight deadlines. Dawn-Marie always responded quickly to my calls and provided insight, guidance, and the occasional pep talk. Dawn-Marie’s professionalism, warmth, and high level of expertise make her the ideal coach."

"We at Thompson Dorfman Sweatman (TDS) are in the early stages of acquiring a sophisticated new software system. Firm wide acceptance of related changes is critical if success is to be achieved. My attendance at a Turner Change Management seminar opened my eyes to the importance of the Change Continuum and the principles of change management, of which Dawn-Marie Turner so eloquently speaks. Subsequently, we invited her to present her core principles to our combined management and marketing committees. Her teachings are now playing a key role in what I'm confident, will be a successful rollout."

"Today's workplaces are constantly in a whitewater of change. I found Turner Change Management's workshop very informative and useful. Managing organizational change and sustainability can be challenging, so today's leaders need an extensive knowledge of the change continuum. Their workshop also emphasized the importance of demonstrating strong and committed leadership throughout the transition plan."
